About Us
We are Moco Machines Robotics Team #14062. We are all high school students from Montgomery county Maryland led by Coach Alberto Lacaze and Coach Scott Goehrung. All of our members attend Winston Churchill high school, Gonzaga College High School, Our Lady of Good Councel High School, Quince Orchard High School, and Richard Montgomery High School. Our team is located in Gaithersburg Maryland. This is our first year in an FTC competition but some of our members have previously competed in FLL at the state level.
Business Team
The business team solicited sponsors and created the team logo, website and team banner.
Design Team
The design team helped develop multiple iterations of our final robot design, as well as collaborated with the mechanical, electrical and programming teams.
Electrical Team
The electrical team is responsible for wiring our motors to the batteries and ensuring the robot runs smoothly.
Mechanical Team
The mechanical team helps bring the design team's idea's to life by constructing our robots. We have a unique way of doing by cutting custom acrylic parts using precise lasers.
Programming Team
The programming team is responsible for all software related developments, including writing robot code and autonomous software engineering.
