TTV_Tiberius 

We named our robot after the Roman praetor Tiberius Gracchus. Tiberius seems to be forgotten in modern times even though he reformed Rome to give power back to the middle class and save roughly half of the Roman population from descending into poverty. We also wish to mirror the values he held such as his famed temperance and patience with the Roman people. We want our Tiberius to emulate these values and show others that they can think of a solution in a different way even if they aren’t given recognition seen with how we are showing others how we built our robot using acrylic parts.  
We built our team Marker with scrap parts that were also used for our robot so we could give the same “see-through” aesthetic design that allows other teams to see how we built our robot. Our Marker was intentionally based off of the Wright brothers’ plane that can be identified as the beginning of man’s fascination with the sky which led to the space revolution that can be based off  the First Tech Challenge theme of this season.
